idraconis Posted October 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2017 There are laundry rooms on each deck with washers and dryers. $3.50 for washers and 3.25 for dryer. $1.50 for detergent. On the Glory you can use your Sail and Sign card. Or you can use Valet service, for a charge of course.

coevan Posted October 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2017 You don't have to state a specific ship, of course there are laundries on ALL ships
SadieN Posted October 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2017 We’ve discovered that we do not need as much detergent onboard as we’d use at home. Even the box sold onboard is enough for two loads. We bring (pre-measured) detergent from home. The washers and dryers are single load, not as big as our huge washers we have at home. Also, the water is extremely soft. crusinpsychRN Posted October 22, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 22, 2017 Think about using CCL laundry pick up. It's more expensive but a lot easier. Don't have to spend any time hanging around the laundry and they do a good job.

dmdiver Posted October 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 23, 2017 We've done laundry on occasion & sent out once. If you are concerned about hot water or a hot dryer, don't send out. While most everything survived being sent out, one item faded quite a bit. Fortunately, it was something that didn't really matter. Doing your own, at least you have some control over temperature. We didn't sit at the laundry room, but went back & forth several times, so we would be sure to get ours out to free up the machine. A bit of a pain, but with 5 people, we just started the wash, took a shower, checked the laundry, dried hair, checked laundry. I wish they had a sign with the wash times on it so we could just set an alarm on the phone.
