Adventure of the seas in June from Cape Liberty

We are researching hotels for the night before the cruise and it has become difficult to determine what area we should be staying. We will be flying into Newark but we still want to be close to the port; any suggestions?

There really are not any hotels at the port. Your best bet is to stay in an airport hotel and take a shuttle. Another option is to stay at a hotel at the train station (Newark Penn Station - NOT New York Penn Station) and get a shuttle from there.

We just returned from our Canada/New England pre-cruise stay and opted for the Country Inn and Suites in Elizabeth New Jersey. I actually used points to get this hotel thank goodness but wouldn't stay there again....very in need of an update...says it's currently undergoing this but I couldn't tell :eek:

 

However this is a great location with several hotel's next door and near by...the Embassy Suites is just across the street. You should consider this location as it was very easy and quick to use an Uber to get to Cape Liberty.

We've used the Residence Inn in Elizabeth a couple of times, same complex as the Country Inn. Very nice property.
