Chef’s Table Question.

We are booked on the Vista, December 2nd, and have a reservation confirmation for the Chef’s Table. My understanding is that we do not find out the day/time of the dinner until we board the ship. Is this accurate?

It just seems strange, because for someone like myself to likes to plan things out, it’s difficult.

From our experience, and that of others here is, a) it won't be the first or last day and b) It will be mid-week or could even be on 2nd formal night (if 7 day or longer).

You will get a letter in your cabin. If you stop by the steakhouse on embarkation day they can tell you the date and time.

The dinner is so good they want you to be held in suspense until the last minute. Makes it more fun. I have done it three times, and always enjoyed the evening.

Try sending an email to the Maitre D'. You can also send an email to the Steak House. They usually know the dates and times. However, the resv's can change, cancellations...etc... Sometimes they schedule 2 or more CT's. Then, cancel one, and re-arrange the nights the CT is held.

For the last several Chef's Tables I have done, it was scheduled for a Tuesday........but sometimes they have more than one seating during the week.
