The main reason the cruise lines are registered in different countries other than the US besides taxes is then they do not have to follow US employment rules and regulations.

Shhhh, cruisers don't like to acknowledge that their cheap vacations come at a price to others.

Comes at a price to others? If you are comparing foreign workers wages to US wages, then yes. But, the reality is that many of the cruise line workers, though they are making the sacrifice of being away from their families for long periods at a time, are making much better money than they could earn at home.
