Interesting. So they have tags there to put on your luggage? I remember from days long ago when the cruise line sent you tags. If you didn't have them (maybe because you didn't know your cabin yet) the porters had tags. Never thought about the fact that these days they have still have tags too. Thanks.

They do have tags. We never print anything. Take a writing instrument with you. The porters will give you tags. Add your cabin number and a name and you are good to go (don't bother with the address, etc., just a name a cabin number is all they need).

Meryl,

If you are going to continue this risky behavior :) you might buy a couple of the clear luggage tag holder that can be attached at the port before you hand the bags to the porter.

Hi Paul, Never thought we would do this but with a cruise booked just over three weeks ago hotels were either sold out or almost $400. We have Princess insurance and a 650 am flight non stop we figured we would be safe. It is freezing in Baltimore and an inch of snow fell. All that means deicing. We took off over 1.5 hours late. We still should be able to have lunch in MDR :) In the air now with free internet on Jet Blue.

Happy New Year to you and Jeannie.

Gutsy move - glad it seems to be working out. Looking ahead to winter weather, we are taking Amtrak to Baltimore the day before our January sailing.

The ultimate goal (only once actually achieved) is to get to within walking distance to the pier the night before embarkation - but NEVER to sleep more than an hour away by reliable transportation.
