Haven Dinning

Not in the Haven, but curious as to if they have a special dinning room besides Cagney to eat dinner.

On the newer bigger ships (epic, breakaway,getaway), there is a The Haven Restaurant or other haven couryard food places

As above, there is a Haven restaurant on the newer ships (Epic and newer).

 

On the older ships you have to mix with the riff raff for meals other than breakfast and lunch (unless you eat in your room).

Escape does not have “ other Haven courtyard food places”. There is the Haven Restaurant, and it is fantastic. Sometimes there is fruit/snacks set out in the Courtyard.

No. None of the Jewel class ships have a dining area in the Haven.

 

They use another venue (usually Cagneys or Moderno) for breakfast and lunch for people in suites.

True.

 

The Epic has a large Havens restaurant and large outdoor dining area. (Best Havens dining room)

 

Breakaway and Getaway, they opted to not put loungers in the lower courtyard, have a smaller formal dining room, and use the courtyard for outdoor/overflow seating. (Really bad decision as far as I am concerned)

 

 

The Escape went back to having a [smaller] outdoor seating area in addition to the formal restaurant. We had breakfast out there every morning (some days it was a bit windy, but as long as you held your bacon down so it didn't fly away (pigs fly), you were o.k.).

 

wrt to the OP's cruise on the Jewel, the suites guest (both Havens and regular suites) have breakfast and lunch in Moderno every day. They are "on their own" for dinner.
