Dates? Budget? The $300/night room in Feb can go for under $100 in August.

 

Flying into MIA or FLL? Many choose flights to FLL to save $$ and stay there until the morning of their cruise.

I would recommend the InterContinental. It is a short drive to the port and an easy walk to Bayside which has restaurants, bars and shops.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami, which overlooks the port and is opposite the Bayside Marketplace which is a good place to spend a few hours.Restaurants, some shopping, live musiv, all set around a marina. If you want to go to a beach then it will take a taxi to South Beach, about $25 ( or less for Uber). The hotel desk can help you with Everglades excursions.
