Internet question

Hi all,

 

This is probably a dumb question but....

 

Can we access the internet without purchasing VOOM? We used to buy "internet minutes" and had access to a public computer. I doubt I will need much internet but would like a backup plan.

 

Also, how reliable is the texting?

No more minute plans. No internet without VOOM except RCCL related sites. On ships with the Royal IQ app, texting via iMessage on iPhones seems to work without VOOM.

Is the Royal IQ app on the Allure? Being able to use iMessage would be handy.

Since Royal is rolling out a new app, I don't expect them to implement the old Royal IQ app on any new ships.

 

 

Google Hangouts would work fine if you purchase the ship's internet package.
