Will RCCL ever start combining Stock Holder OBC with Future or Next cruise OBC?

Recommended Posts

While it is true RCCL doesn't share holder's benefit with next or future cruises OBC, RCCL will give the difference if the share holder benefits is greater than the next or future cruises OBC. It is disappointing RCCL stop combining in 2008. We, the share holders, should make noise to request combining of benefits and OBC's is returned to original practice.

Born-To-Cruise

Past Cruises: 11-RCI, 3-Carnival and 1-Celebrity

(funds permitting, always looking forward to great cruises)

I don't have much hope of this no matter how much noise is made. It seems all decisions are made with respect to saving the last nickel, no matter how much it annoys people.

Totally agree. Also is it true that "Future/Next cruise" certificates no longer come with 2 friends and family vouchers?? Tried to give it to a friend who decided to cruise with us this February and they didn't honor it:(!

There are no vouchers anymore, but if you are making bookings onboard, they will allow you to book up to some number (4, I think) of cruises for friends who are not currently onboard.

In the past few years, we have only been able to use the stock benefit once, for $50 credit on a 3 night cruise in an OV cabin. We just sold the stock and can take many cruises on the profit!

I never understood why the benefit couldn't be combined. One's investment decisions should not have any thing to do with a cruise price, type of accommodation, crown and anchor status etc.
