stargate fan Posted January 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring travel corkscrews on board with you to open the wine that you carry on? Thank you! Yes, you can carry one on with no problem. If you are flying, check the TSA rules. We learned a hard lesson when my husband forgot to take our cork screw out of his toiletry bag in his carry on when we flew last summer. The cork screw had a little one inch knife, which the TSA agent told us was a no-no. But the three inch auger, aka cork screw part, with a sharp point was not an issue at all. :rolleyes:Go figure. coevan Posted January 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2018 corkscrews with foil cutters without a blade are not banned by TSA. Corkscrews with knife, Swiss army knives and Leathermen are allowed in checked baggage and are fine with Carnival as well.

Sebleo Posted February 1, 2018 #14 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Thank you all for your replies. My friend will ask their room steward for one of the carnival corkscrews. Thanks again! We have always called room service for ours. There is no charge for it. Just an FYI if the room steward says they can't get it.
