My DH and I are sailing back to back on the Fantasy later this month. Can anyone tell me what we do on turnover day? We do have to change cabins because the second leg of cruise was just added yesterday. Would appreciate any info.

Your stateroom steward will help you with moving your belongings to your new cabin just make sure you tell him/her ahead of time,

I haven't done a B2B in a while but you are given a "transit" pass that will allow you to come and go off and on the ship without having to go through lines You will need to get security screened again if you decide to leave. I would just stay on the ship though and enjoy the quietness for a while until the new guest board.

It's 2 separate cruises, so you exit the ship with all the other B2B, quickly go through customs, get a new S&S card and you are than free to board or go ashore. Remember to not have any credits on your account as the account will be closed and you will get a new folio number.

mostly do B2B's, so here's our view,,,

1)tell your steward if you need help,

2)tell your new cabin steward, so he'll clean your cabin first, or at least allow you to put your luggage in that cabin, and keep the door closed, 3)you usually will meet at around 830 am in the center ship MDR on dk 3(you'll receive instructions in your 1st week cabin a day or 2 before your 1st week ends) where Carnival will give you your new cabin card, there will be a mini buffet set up while you wait for security to clear the ship, 4) Carnival employees will lead all the B2B people off the ship to Border Control, where they will quickly check your passports/government ID's, then you will be led back onto the ship, and the ship is yours,,,,for about 1/2-1 hour:(:( til the next cruise starts to board!

Once you go through it, you'll see its all done very easily, and with no stress! Enjoy your B2B, we got the Miracle in Feb-March, the Glory in April, and the Vista in May, all lined up as B2B's! B2B's are great!:D

Call Carnival or your travel agent & make sure your 2 bookings are "linked" before you leave. After you board verify this was done with guest services.

We always enjoy a leisurely breakfast before debarkation & having the ship to ourselves before the new passengers start boarding.

I’ve done b2b. Carnival has a lot of b2b cruisers. The last night of your first cruise you will receive a letter of instruction in your cabin. Sorry that you have to change cabins. We were lucky and booked a cabin that worked for all 14 days. But a b2b is awesome so you will be fine.

In the aforementioned letter you will be instructed to meet somewhere on the ship while everyone else de-embarks. Make sure to have the requested docs/passport with you.

They will issue you new sail & sign cards. We had about 10 people doing b2b’s. While we waited in a designated area in the theater together there was CCL staff assigned to us. They took our docs and returned with new sail & sign cards. They hung out with us and even have a b2b sign that they had us hold up and took a picture of the 10 of us together. And then offered a drink to anyone over 21 years old.

Our first week was rough with a lot of unruly cruisers and first time cruisers so de-embarkation took unusually long. But once they were off CCL escorted the ten of us to customs and then right back on board.

You DO have the option of dembarking and then embarking with everyone else but no one did on my b2b.

Those cruisers that were switching cabins then went and moved their belongings and then the passengers were already getting on board for the second week.

I would suggest speaking to guest services to make sure they know they know your a b2b cruiser and speak to them about moving cabins. It doesn’t hurt to introduce yourself to your next cabin steward either and tell them of your hopes to have the cabin clean and ready. [emoji6]

Have a wonderful b2b!

I have a B2B question if I can piggy back off of this thread. How do you handle the bottle of wine you can bring onboard for the second leg? Would you have to leave to get one out of your vehicle? Can you pick one up in a port on the first leg and have them keep it until the second leg? Or is there another process?

I would double check by calling and asking but I am pretty sure the FAQ it said the excess items will be held until the start of your 2nd cruise then delivered to you room.

You can bring both bottles with you when you embark for your first cruise - make sure you have both boarding passes with you to show to the screeners.

" Enjoy your B2B, we got the Miracle in Feb-March"

We were booked on the 14 day Miracle through the Panama Canal and had to cancel for a family emergency. We really wanted to sail on the Miracle again and were looking for a B2B in March. Unfortunately, we noticed the Miracle is doing the same itinerary, with only 2 sea days. Unless they rotate itineraries it would be a deal breaker.
