realtyman95 Posted February 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2018 I know Harmony runs you through their hand washing station before you can enter the Windjammer. Is the Allure equally equipped? Beside these hand washing stations - is RCCL taking any additional precautions because of the high level of the flu outbreak? (sorry)
denamo Posted February 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2018 No, the Allure does not have hand washing stations. At the entrance of the Windjammer is a staff person is posted asking you to use the hand sanitizer and many times having a bottle in hand to squirt sanitizer in your hand. They should do this on all ships.
nascarcruiser Posted February 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2018 While washing your hands is a good idea, flu is air born so washing won't prevent it

(sorry) Other than handing out face masks, I’m not sure what “additional precautions “ you would suggest to prevent an airborne virus.

ramja96 Posted August 10, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 10, 2018 They do not promote hand washing/sanitizer to prevent the spread of the flu. It's to prevent norovirus outbreaks - the irony being that Purell is ineffective against norovirus.
