SanFranCruzer Posted February 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2018 If you don't use all of your on board credits in the first leg of a b2b can you roll it and use it on the 2nd leg of your b2b??
Rare shof515 Posted February 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2018 No. your on board account on your first leg is closed out and any remaining refundable credits will be sent to you via a check to your address on file. On your second leg, you will start a brand new account.
tulch Posted February 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2018 Our experience on a B2B sailing on the Epic in January was the opposite. Our account (including all charges, credits and OBC) was rolled over and continued during the second week. We did a similar B2B last year on the Epic and it was the same. I wouldn't think it should vary by ship, but maybe...?
don't-use-real-name Posted February 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2018 Best answer would be contacting NCL. A lot depends on how the cruise contract is set up. A B2B - two - individual - separate - cruises - credits not rolled over. Two cruises booked (contracted) as a package maybe linked to one account for both cruises. May also depend on getting off the ship at the end of leg 1 and rechecking in for leg 2 My 2016 Boston Quebec Boston B2B was considered one cruise - nothing to carry over. I might add same stateroom both legs.
casofilia Posted February 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2018 When we have had B2B cruises whether booked as a single cruise or two cruises with or without a change of cabin we have always had one folio and that has not been cleared till the very end of the two cruises. cmurchake Posted February 28, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2018 Did a back to back on Escape in January and everything from the first week rolled over to the second week. At the end of week 1 I owed $130 but at the beginning of week 2 I received $200 OBC so my balance sat at ($70)
zqvol Posted February 28, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 28, 2018 No. your on board account on your first leg is closed out and any remaining refundable credits will be sent to you via a check to your address on file. On your second leg, you will start a brand new account. Are you speculating or do you have actual knowledge. It seems that NCL runs a single folio until you leave the ship. On our three b2b cruises, whether booked as one cruise or as two cruises our folio did not close after the first segment but was carried over to the next. I have always kept my account going when i do B2B.
peg013 Posted February 28, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 28, 2018 We also had only one account for our B2B and the second half was a 7 night cruise my DH won on FB so definitely different bookings.
SanFranCruzer Posted February 28, 2018 Author #11 Share Posted February 28, 2018 Sounds like a rollover is a yes from most answers I'm reading. we have a 10 day leg and then a 19 day. both have same cruise credit so Id like to even it out the entire time. hope we can do it. if we can't maybe we can get a carnival gift card at the end of first leg and use it on second. thanks for all the answers. I don't think a Carnival gift card will do you much good on NCL. ;)
SanFranCruzer Posted March 1, 2018 Author #13 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Too true! That is what happens when you aren't loyal to one line- and you are over 50! We sail carnival in 30 days, our b2b on NCL isn't until next year.
