Stella1250 Posted March 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2018 We booked the July 2019 Baltic on the QV out of Hamburg. We are in a Q5 on the tail of the ship. Can't wait.
laktex Posted March 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2018 A little odd that the picture of Queen Victoria on Page 7 of the brochure is prior to the refit.
Host Hattie Posted March 19, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted March 19, 2018 A little odd that the picture of Queen Victoria on Page 7 of the brochure is prior to the refit. Well she hasn't been back to the Amazon since the refit, so the only way to show her in the river is pre-refit. I suppose they could have used a post-refit photograph in a different location but I can understand why they used the photograph they did.

Rare 57eric Posted March 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2018 I want to look at cabins while I wait to connect with my TA. "Reserve your stateroom today. Click here to view online." But when I click through, it says I can't book until tomorrow. Can anyone tell me how to get around this? Thanks.
DaisyDancer Posted March 19, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 19, 2018 I've just booked the Norway Northern Lights cruise for November 2019 on the QV. Got a good price for a single cabin. I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights so fingers crossed they will appear when I'm there. Daisy
ckl001 Posted March 20, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Just had a look at the QE cruises and found one I am really interested in. It is a Christmas/New Year cruise for 2019/2020. I think it may be a go for me. So excited. Chez
Rare babs135 Posted March 20, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 20, 2018 I'm waiting (again!) for the Alaskan itineraries. Didn't manage to book for June 2019 as health issues got in the way so maybe with fingers crossed we can do 2020.
cruiseluvva Posted March 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Simply not enthused by anything and we want to book the Seychelles anyway, so we’ll just wait for now and see how we feel nearer the time.

DaisyDancer Posted March 21, 2018 #16 Share Posted March 21, 2018 When you say a “good” price, does that mean you got it for less than the posted price online? Only the 5% discount offered by Cunard to World Club members for early booking. Plus getting one of the few single cabins makes the price less that having a twin cabin for single occupancy. ElaineKeagy Posted March 21, 2018 #17 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Well 5% can be a good chunk of money. I’m looking at a world cruise for 2022 and as a solo traveller, it’s overwhelming. I’m think about using a TA since I’ve heard the cruise specialist TAs can get additional breaks and add perks. I really like the layout of the single cabin on the QM2. Looks like more storage and desk space than in a double occupancy cabin. Enjoy your Nordic cruise!! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
canoncruiser Posted March 21, 2018 #18 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Hey Little Fish, QE has lots of Japan in 2020-that’s what attracted me as well as overnights in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai-come sail along!:D
