debs0712 Posted March 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2018 We will be disembarking from our cruise in Dublin and we need to go directly to the airport. Does anyone know if taxis are always available? Or would it be better to arrange a transfer in advance??
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2018 If you have an early flight I would arrange a private transfer. Keith
debs0712 Posted March 25, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Our flight is at 12:30. Since we are arriving in Dublin the day before and staying overnight, I am thinking that people will be disembarking at all different times. Iamthesea Posted March 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2018 I am also curious about the taxi situation. We will need to get from the port of Dublin to the Clontarf Castle Hotel after disembarking.
Ashland Posted March 25, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2018 If you have an early flight I would arrange a private transfer. Keith We have an early flight 11:20am (actually the latest AA offered) leaving from DUB after disembarking the X Eclipse. Any suggestions for a private transfer company? Iamthesea Posted March 26, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2018 I found the following website that might be helpful. ;) http://www.dublintourist.com/directory/tours/transfers_and_ground_transport/
debs0712 Posted March 28, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted March 28, 2018 I set up a transfer from the ship to the airport with Irish Chauffeurs. info@irishchauffeurs.com. They answered my email promptly and charge 100 EUROS for 4-6 people and luggage. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Sonoma fans Posted March 29, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 29, 2018 We are using Butler Tours for our 2 airport transfers, and for our Cork Private Tour. I have a mobility scooter so it was best for us to get a transfer. 100 euros each transfer for 6 pass. Van
flipflopgal Posted April 8, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 8, 2018 We have an early flight 11:20am (actually the latest AA offered) leaving from DUB after disembarking the X Eclipse. Any suggestions for a private transfer company? Hubby & I are on this sailing, and have a similar flight time on Delta. It might be cost effective to share a ride to the airport if your interested. Hello, I AM on the May 10th sailing, but no idea about the roll call as I find that tool very confusing. Its like one 58 page long thread. I will see if I can find MarinaGirl & get added, thank you. Also is there a way to be notified when someone posts a reply or do you just have to check your posts everyday ?

I think you have to go to your profile (top right of page), then use Control Panel to add subscriptions. You can specify when to get updates--every day, every time a new post is made, etc. ETA: Just noticed that when you in a thread (and logged in), you can go to the top right and subscribe under Thread Tools. Good luck ML Edited April 9, 2018 by NoWhiners add note

67Miner Posted April 30, 2018 #20 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Here are the options for airport transfer from Dublin: Celebrity transfer: $31 Taxi: 40 euro for four persons (make arrangement night before with a taxi driver parked at the ship otherwise you will have a substantial wait) Airport express bus No. 757: 7 euro (but you must exit dock and walk about 1 mile for the nearest pickup point).
