Port of Miami Terminal - Haven Area

I have not been able to locate details on this topic, is there a Haven guest area at this port? We sailed out of Miami last year, but non-Haven and I didn't notice at that time.

Thanks in advance!

Yes. There is a small room dedicated for this with dedicated check in agents, seats for waiting, usually some juice/coffee/cookies, etc. Once checked in from here you will be escorted in small groups onto the ship and taken up to the Haven area for a brief intro and welcome from the concierge staff up there. (this is based on our last -away class ship experiences).

Right beyond security in Terminals B and C. Big banner-up. Overflow seating across the hall.

When we went last summer on the escape we started in the small room. But we're only in there for maybe 15 minutes. After that they escorted us up stairs to a seating g area right next to the terminal b and c divider still not a lot of seating area and people started overflowing into the regular seating area. Really no one was watching and anyone could have been in that upstairs area. When boarding started everyone in the public area stood up first and they then started filtering the Haven guests from the rest. Since we got there early we where in the Haven seating area who were the last of the Haven people to board

My experience was similar to what others have reported: limited time in the check in area which had lovely snacks then moved upstairs to roped off area with only cookies. Not the first class experience I was expecting, but you still get on the boat first so can't complain.

Never had that experience on any of our many cruises out of Miami. 5 to 10 minutes in the private Haven check in room, then straight onto the ship every time.

I will suggest that you keep your eyes open for the Haven lounge area. The first time we went, we passed it by, since it was before getting to the usual lines. The people directing traffic did not direct us to it either.....we checked in through the regular lines, and they ended up taking us back to the room. Once there it was okay, but not nearly as nice as some terminals---guess that will change with the new NCL terminal! In 3 trips, we have never waited very long in the area before being escorted to our room.

I think the big difference is we got to the terminal before it was even open. We were in line just outside the doors when security opened. So we still had atleast a 90 min wait after passing security before the first people started to board. They start moving people upstairs so the small room doesn't get crowded.
