comoceva Posted March 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2018 It's been a while since I cruised carnival so therefore I want to know about how much are the bingo package prices just in case some people in our group want to play bingo and do we have to bring a bingo dabber with us or do they have some for purchase? Thanks in advance.
mjones2j Posted March 26, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Just got off the Elation and Bingo was priced $20 for a 3 card/ 3 game bundle, $30 for 6 card/ 3 game bundle, and $40 for 9 card/ 3 game bundle. Daubers are $2, but you get one with the $40 package.

jk04 Posted March 27, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Do they have those electronic bingo card machines as well? I find those take the fun out of bingo as do the electronic ball selection. Something about the old-style ball machines I like, just as I like to pull the arm on the slot machines.

On the Vista, Bingo was held in the ocean plaza. I hated it!!! We needed to secure our table at least an hour in advance, especially if you wanted a view of the screen. By the end of the week, I got smart! We grabbed the table and had lunch there from the taste bar and BBQ! John Heald mentioned there would be a new Bingo on the Horizon. I’m interested to hear what’s new.
jk04 Posted March 27, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2018 What about the electronic bingo cards? You don't really even have to do anything, it tells you which cards has how many numbers left. The games seemed to go so quickly with those involved.
teknoge3k Posted March 27, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 27, 2018 The old balls that pop up are long gone, this is 2018. One thing I don't like about the bingo on the ships is... The last time we played when a new game started they called like 2 numbers and 15 people got bingo. Like, seriously? 15 people call bingo and I'm still searching for B11

stevefrisco Posted March 27, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Is it just me or is Bingo a huge ripoff at sea? I don't normally play back home but it's my understanding that the local halls take a set percentage and the payout is based on that. The few times I went at sea, they had a set prize no matter how many people played. Was I missing something? Just didn't seem like a good deal for the players. USNUZULOOSE Posted March 28, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 28, 2018 I would rather play bingo near home. I would rather read a book , play games or watch a movie. Save my money for other things

comoceva Posted March 28, 2018 Author #15 Share Posted March 28, 2018 It's a robbery. Wow. That’s what I was thinking with those prices. Too expensive but to win a free cruise, I might play the cheap pack Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Tiger0613 Posted March 28, 2018 #17 Share Posted March 28, 2018 They used to use the punch cards then switched to the daubers. When did the switch happen? I remember using the punch cards on my first cruise in 2002. I went on my second cruise in 2016, and they were using daubers. Am I remembering this correctly? I remember the price in 2002 being $30 for three punch cards for one game. I don't remember the price for one punch card. Also, I miss Stinko Bingo.
