Just finished a couples massage, sooooooooo relaxing!

We had a nice night with dinner at Coastal Kitchens and then seeing the Gift.

 

While the story was weird, the singing and dancing were excellent.

 

One unusual occurrence, they stopped the show in the middle due to a technical issue with the set, where they wanted to maintain performer safety.

 

Everyone handled it extremely well, and the show went on 10 minutes later. As the cruise director said, it is LIVE theater!

Today, we are stopping at Coco Cay. The weather looks perfect, so tendering shouldn't be a problem.

 

We're planning for a relaxing beach day, definitely including some fruity drinks! [emoji295] [emoji484]

We are getting on the ship as you get off, and I'm debating whether to bring wet suits for CocoCay; would you please let me know if the water is comfortable for snorkeling? Thanks!

They were delicious! [emoji484]

 

The water was cold, but the sun was hot. I didn't snorkel, but did go into the water. I didn't see anyone with a wet suit, but I could imagine having one if in the water for a long time.

 

We rented a kayak and took turns going out in pairs. I was able to get a nice picture of the Anthem.

Pretty much any activity / show we want to see, our Genie has booked for us.

 

I'm a planner, so it's been different not being in control of the schedule, but it's working well so far.

 

Tonight, we are doing the chef's table restaurant.

We are on the same cruise. We won the backpack at the meet and mingle. Wish we could have seen the launch but we couldn’t see it from Universal.

We went to Blue Lagoon for the Royal Dolphin Swim. [emoji227]

 

The dolphins and trainers (Dave and Keva) were amazing. We all had a great time and were able to do a lot of tricks with the dolphins.

 

Blue Lagoon is a little further than I would have preferred, but the island and beach were beautiful.

Chef's Table last night was fun... the service was excellent, the wine very nice and the food good.

 

It wasn't the best meal I've ever had, but I'm glad that we did it.

We spent a couple hours at the beach. The beach was not very busy... we arrived at 1130 and immediately found chairs.

 

The beach was very nice, although the water was slightly colder than I expected.

That's right! I will say, though, we were in the water for an hour with the dolphins and I didn't feel like I needed a wetsuit.

A busy day so far.

 

First, we took a galley tour, which I found interesting.

 

Then, we did the iFly. Marcus, our instructor, was very fun.

 

Next, we did the escape room and made it out in 30 minutes.

 

Next up is Northstar!
