Joint specialty dining for two cabins? (Escape)

Are you able to book dining for multiple cabins together? If so, how do you do it? We’re traveling with my in-laws in two cabins, and we would want to book tables of four for our speciality dining. We would be using the specialty dining package for both cabins, and we are staying in the Haven, but we’d rather book in advance.

When you go to make your reservation online, you can book a reservation for as many people as you want. There's a drop-down menu for number of guests. It won't be "charged" against your specialty dining package or anything until you are actually physically at the restaurant. At that point your waiter sorts out which charges are going on which room cards.

Just to expand a little on the last response. The system does keep a track of the meals you have booked, with regard to the number of meals you have in any dining plan.

 

For example, if you have a three meal plan, you can make three reservations without being charged upfront. For those three meals, nobody will be charged, even if you were booking for 8 people, when nobody else has the package. Make a 4th reservation and you will all be charged upfront.

 

This upfront charge only applies to a few places, like Teppenyaki or Moderno, but people have done it wrong.
