RMM34667 Posted April 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2018 I did read the description. It sounds similar but not quite the same. Any comments or reviews of Steamers? Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app

zahav1 Posted April 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Crab Shack is a great experience, everyone should do it at least once, it's a feast and really delicious. The service is great. It's a ton of food.
dns65 Posted April 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Crab Shack is a great experience, everyone should do it at least once, it's a feast and really delicious. The service is great. It's a ton of food. Hmmm, I did it on the Crown in 2016 and just this past February on the Ruby and was very disappointed at the significant reduction in portion sizes. It used to be a ton of food, it isn't any more IMO
msmoger Posted April 3, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2018 We haven't been to Crab Shack in a couple of years, but have enjoyed it. We were on the Caribbean Princess last week and very much enjoyed Steamers. There was plenty to eat for us, without adding the additional lobster and crab. Just on a side note, and maybe I'm a lightweight eater ;), but I can't ever remember leaving the table even slightly hungry on any Princess cruise. fitz0113 Posted April 3, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2018 We did a Crab Shack dinner on the Golden about a year ago and it was absolutely horrible. The table next to ours was in complete agreement. The seafood was tasteless and when we asked the chef he stated he had to follow the recipe cards. The meal was an absolute disaster. Sent an email to Princess explaining the situation and were still waiting for a reply. Think I will get one? It was the worst dining experience that I have had on Princess in six cruises. Sillyjilly Posted April 4, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 4, 2018 I've found the crab shack to be hit or miss. Sometimes delicious and plentiful, and sometimes downright yucky. I don't even go any more. No consistency and this has been on the same ship.
