Quiet places to read on the Escape? Thermal spa?

I'm looking for suggestions for quiet places on Escape where I can lounge and read, preferably with a view of the ocean. I will not have a balcony stateroom, so looking for public areas.

 

Is the Thermal Spa a good spot for reading? I've read some conflicting views on how quiet it is. I would probably use the water features/saunas a few times in the evening, but for me the main draw would be to snag a lounge chair right in front of the windows, and read and relax. :D Would the pass be worth it if that's my main objective?

Not sure the thermal pass is worth the cost, not really that quiet. I would recommend finding a spot on deck 8 on the waterfront. Very quiet especially during the day when the specialty restaurants are closed. Comfortable couches and chairs

I have had the spa pass 4 times. 3/4 it was very quiet besides the sound of crashing water from the spa pools waterfall. 1 time was quite loud.

Your two best options would be the spa and the waterfront. If you are hoping for a quiet, air conditioned area with killer ocean views, padded lounger, and comfortable... then the spa is exactly what you are looking for. I found it extremely quiet and the moment a group started making even a little noise, an attendant immediately quieted them down.

 

The waterfront is also quiet and has a ton of places to relax and read. It's outside, nice breeze, too.

I got plenty of reading done on the Escape in the thermal suite last month. Wish I was on one of those thermal loungers right now.

Go to the Waterfront. Lots of comfy couches and chairs with a view of the ocean. Close to other services as well if you want a drink etc.

My favorite place during the day inside is the District. Quiet, comfy couches with a great ocean view. The waterfront is the place outside. The thermal spa is my favorite place on the Escape overall.

I always found the Thermal Spa very relaxing and quiet. I also think it depends on what time of day you go there and how crowded it is. You can't beat the Waterfront for relaxation. Very quiet, comfy couches/chairs. Enjoyed sitting outside, sipping on my favorite drink and just watching the world go by.

We sit on the waterfront. Some comfy chairs. We are just as comfortable at a dining table from one of the restaurants (which are not open during the day).

 

Inside the ship, the library. Big windows.

Outside of the deck where the Tapas bar is. There are a large number of comfortable chairs and couches and there are a number of bars outside as well. We watched the ocean view and enjoyed the quiet there almost everyday.
