Thanks! Not likely since this cruise is on September 30th, and we already have cruises booked the very end of August (Elation), and mid October (Pride). I'm waiting for a few bags of money to fall in my backyard from heaven! :D We have until August to decide. :cool:

Day # 4 - Cozumel ( 10am to 8pm ).

 

We were up at 7am to get ready for the day. The seas were a little choppy, but again the ship moved very little. It was partly cloudy out, but the forecast was for another beautiful day. Here are today’s Fun Times…..

 

We went up to the Lido for breakfast, where Patti got herself an omelet, and I got a breakfast burrito from the Blue Iguana Cantina. Our plan for today was to meet up with Jim and Pat, and head over to Mr. Sancho’s. We met them at the Atrium Bar at 10am, and proceeded to leave the ship…..

 

Here is the Carnival Paradise docked at the Puerta Maya pier in Cozumel…..

Of course they make you exit and enter the pier through the shops……

 

There are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants between the pier and the taxi stand. Here is the Three Amigo’s…..

Welcome to Puerta Maya……

 

We love this fountain…..

 

The shopping area is quiet right now…..

 

We get to the taxi stand and there are no lines at all. The rates to anywhere on Cozumel are prominently posted. The taxi fare to Mr. Sancho’s is $17 each way for all four of us. As we leave Puerta Maya in the taxi, we can see the off road vehicles and jeeps lined up for excursions or rental…..

We have arrived at Mr. Sancho’s……

Our server for today is Gabe, and he leads us to our table on the beach. The table is shaded by a large thatched umbrella. There were also loungers between our table and the water that were ours to use. Gabe gave us menus and immediately took our first, of many, drink orders. I think we were drinking our first round by 10:30am! Lol.

 

Patti finished her first drink, and as she always does, grabs the camera to tour the grounds. Here is one of the two pool bars…..

 

Here are a few of the beach cabanas. They are first come, first served……

 

This is the covered buffet area. You could sit here if you wished, or take your food back to the table…..

A swarm of bees has taken up residence underneath the roof of the pool bar….

Jim and I are enjoying a couple of beers in the pool. Shortly after these pictures were taken, the bees were becoming agitated, so they closed this pool and pool bar down for the rest of the day…..

 

 

We just moved over to the other pool. Lol.....
