Hello Jeff : Enjoying the review and amazing Patti pictures. I especially liked your Congo River Golf outing. I remember playing that course with my family as a teenager in the late 1980's. I'll soon be back with Mom and Dad in NYC for a four day trip to Bermuda on the Horizon leaving on September 13. Our Labor Day cruise on the Sunshine to Canada from NYC in 2016 was the infamous trip where I got to meet you here online after recognizing you from your review. Thanks for the awesome review as always. Peace and God Bless!

Thanks for posting this review. We will be on the Paradise in August for Cuba. It will be our first time on her & first time cruising out of Tampa. It is only our second time on Carnival. How does the Paradise compare to the Pride? We cruised on her 2 years ago.

We will be driving down I-95 from Delaware. I'm giving myself 2 days so plenty of time. You drove right past our house if you came over the Delaware Memorial Bridge. We can watch the traffic coming into Delaware from our front door.

Anxious to read the rest of this review. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for reading! I think you will love the Paradise. She's a little bit smaller than the Pride, which is my favorite ship, and she doesn't have everything that the Pride has, but you will have a great time. The crew just raves about Cuba.

Yes, we come over the DMB from New Jersey. Did you see us? :D Have a safe drive down to Florida.

Following along thank you for your review. I noticed there is no big screen on the Paradise so suffice to say no Dive in Movies?

Thanks for following along! You are correct. There are no Dive-In Movies on any Fantasy Class ships.

HI Jeff,

Thank you (and Patty) so much for doing this. This has made me give the Carnival Paradise a second look.

Glad you are enjoying it. Going to post the start of our Grand Cayman day now.

Day # 3 - Grand Cayman ( 7am to 3pm ).

We were up at 6am to get ready for the day. The seas were calm, but it was a bit cloudy outside. The weather forecast was for a beautiful day. Here are today’s Fun Times…..

We met Jim and Pat around 7:30am in the Leonardo Lounge for priority tendering. Our plan for today was to head to the Royal Palms on Seven Mile Beach. I had reserved a pool cabana there ahead of time. Around 7:45am we were led down to the first tender. Here is one of the tenders used here today…..

Hi all!

Jeff ~ glad I finally found your review, I thought you'd have one soon. Loving your review as usual & Patti's lovely pictures.

I don't know about Paradise, looks a bit too colourful to me but am looking forward to Conquest which I have been on & loved.

Looking forward to more.

Have you ever cruised the Med, plan to or prefer to stay on this side of the pond? Cuba is something else so hope you get there soon. I've been 8 times, twice on cruises around the island, it's beautiful.

We arrived at the Royal Palms at 8:20 our time. They wouldn’t start serving drinks or food until 10am our time. That was the only negative. We were free to pick our cabana and use the facilities until then. Here are the pool and pool cabanas…..
