Excursions Closed or Sold Out

I've been checking the website weekly and today was the first time excursions were shown for our January 2019 cruise. All are shown as "Closed or Sold Out". I'm curious if this is really the case or they are not quite ready for booking yet. We have independent tours booked for most of the stops so I'm not concerned, just curious.

I noticed this last year, for my first O cruise. But the excursions opened for booking 6 months prior to sail date.

From the FAQs on O's website:

When are shore excursions available to book?

Shore excursions are available to book at 180 days prior to sailing and may be booked until three days prior to sailing based on availability.

Same here for the 27 December 18 cruise on Sirena. They will open 120-180 days before.

To see the possible shore excursions for any port:

At the top of the Oceania Cruises home page, click on the link "Destinations", then select the region of your cruise from the dropdown.

A page will open for that region.

Scroll to the bottom, and you will see a list of ports in that region.

Click on a port.

On the next page, click on the link for Shore Excursions, and you will see a list of shore excursions that O offers.

They just won't show the pricing, but should indicate category of tour, etc.

Hope this helps.
