We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary while on ship this summer. Do you know if Oceania does anything special for you if they know you are celebrating an occasion while on board?

They usually give you a card. Once our room steward decorated our room with balloons. Every time we see her on a cruise afterwards she remembers us.

On Sirena last year we attended a 50th anniversary "Re commitment" ceremony. Very nicely done. Closed the library for it, brought in the string quartet, flowers, cake and champagne and the Captain presiding in his dress uniform. A couple of other officers, cruise director, hotel manager also attended We all went to dinner together in Tuscan Grill afterward. The Capt said he does 2or 3 of these on every contract. I didn't think it was polite to ask what they charged :). But it was really nice.
