Good Morning Cruise Critics, welcome to Day 1 of our sailing on Harmony of the Seas.. that means today is embarkation day! Wooohooo!

 

Had a restful sleep and was up early to see Harmony arrive...we lucked out and our room did have a perfect view...

Rain or Shine pay no never-mind...were cruising today!

 

Dawn arrives over Princess on an overcast and drizzly day..

Had a leisurely coffee and breakfast at the Hilton this morning...

 

 

In the lobby they have a cafe that has a Starbucks and you can get lite breakfast fare

 

 

Further down they have the Waterway that serves a breakfast buffet...

 

 

With a made to order eggs/omelette’s station

 

 

Load me up..

 

 

4 out of 5 Forks. ( Dinged a point due to cost)

 

 

Total for two buffets came to $48... lets get on Harmony to save some money!

Welcome to a soggy Port Everglades Cruise Critics..,

 

Made it onto the $6 pp shuttle from the Hilton ( their listed start time is 10:30 however when we checked in they said when would we like to go and we said now or whenever and they took us right then just the two of us...

 

 

Rode past Carnival Conquest..

 

 

Caught a glimpse of a soggy Princess.. not the one getting married in England today either..

 

 

Never caught a picture of Harmony :(

We made it onboard after waiting a bit outside. Royal has this down pat... it was 6 mins from entering the building to getting on board.. impressive...
