I just remembered that we stopped at Playa Mia as part of the Mayan ruins/beach excursion I took on our first Disney cruise. We were there only for several hours, but still had a great time :) Highly recommended!

 

 

Thanks! We are hoping the weather is nice enough to make it to Playa Mia and enjoy some fun in the sun.

After an uneventful flights down to FLL.. our first sign we were in Florida was the humidity walking down the jetway.. beats winter snow!

After 35 or so minutes wait we received the text message that our table at the Boatyard was ready..sadly that put an end to our yacht purchase after looking over the yachts for sale..

 

Just a bit out of our price range!

 

 

So we headed back to the

 

 

Sadly I only now realized I only took a picture of the drink menu... that is the important one anyway right?

 

 

The kitchen is open and was hopping as it was extremely crowded being a Friday Night..

 

 

They offer an a la cart sea-fish display.. looks tempting....

Mrs. Seadogs Small Wedge Salad. (4 out of 5 Forks)

 

 

Petit Filet (4.25 out of 5 Forks) 6 oz perfect size for Mrs. S

 

 

Spiced Grilled Salmon (4 out of 5 Forks) very nice flavor.

 

 

 

All in all this was a very good dinner. Price with no alcohol drinks came to $91.00 so a bit pricy but the food was worth it.

We then waddled back to crash for the night. Travel days are long with all the pent up excitement and air travel hassle..

 

 

Renaissance looked nice lit up...

 

 

Geez they grow them big here in Florida..

Pool area looks very nice and maybe one stay here we will get to take a dip...
