tolkienfan43 Posted May 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2018 We are headed on Explorer of the Seas this July and wondering about the interior ship temperature. We plan to pack layers for the outside Alaska weather, but not sure if we can wear shorts and polo shirts inside or need to stick with the more Alaska like clothing e.g., jeans and long sleeves. Thx Jeff Sent from my iPhone using Forums

If you are comfortable in shorts on the Royal Promenade when the ship is in the Caribbean, you will also be comfortable on the Royal Promenade when the ship is in Alaska. Rare OCSC Mike Posted May 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2018 I asked this for my Alaska cruise on Radiance next month. I decided on jeans b/c I don't expect to be too hot inside and I expect I may step outside for fresh air, the view, to cross the ship on the pool deck to grab a nighttime snack at park cafe, etc. Just my thought process. Jandex Posted May 22, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 22, 2018 I always freeze inside the ship - must be the air conditioning. Always carry an extra layer with me. ❄️ Sent from my iPhone using Forums
