Haven Port of Call Question

Port of call disembarkation question:

Ship ports in Bermuda at 8am - we are staying in the Haven, what time can we expect to be off the ship?

The NCL website says 2 hours to get off after docking - will it really be 10am before we can exit the ship? Asking so I know what time to book an activity (not through the ship, so if we don't make our reservation time we are out of luck).

*If you check the NCL excursions page there are several activities that are prior to the 2-hour window so guessing it's not really 2 hours? We've sailed several times before but we never seem to make a port "on time" and I never book anything too close to dock time so I've never really paid attention to how fast/slow you can get off the ship.

You can be off the ship within minutes of docking. They will make the announcement and give the all clear. Sometimes in ports we are walking away from the ship on the dock by the time the announcement is made. If you see them tie up the ship, then you can head down, and they will open up the exit lanes pretty quickly. (This has nothing to do with the Haven. We've never stayed there.)

the 2 hour time frame is only usually for disembarkation at the end of the cruise. It has no effect on the port of call times. You can get off the ship within 15 minutes or so after docking.

I just got back from the Escape, on my cruise the ship started docking at around 7:30am, and by 7:45ish, you were able to get off the ship.

As a Haven guest you can meet the Concierge in the Haven lounge and be the first group escorted off the ship. I have had a Haven cabin 4 times and have only utilized the service once. It usually is unnecessary. As others have indicated, most passengers can typically leave as soon as they want. My kids found the priority disembarkation helpful for the private island. I found it helpful when we were trying to reach a private tour.

At ports of call the gangway opens as soon as the ship is cleared, which could even be prior to scheduled docking time. There is no order for getting off, but it typically takes no more than 15 minutes for the mad rush to be over.

The haven concierge will tell you the time to be at the desk and you get to pop into an elevator that shoots you behind the scenes to the from of the exit line. Wonderful benefit and gets you to the taxis first if you’re heading somewhere on your own (like we usually do). https://gotravellife.com/2018/01/03/about-us/
