The hotel reservation included the buffet breakfast and WiFi. The breakfast had hot and cold items, juice, espresso, coffee and cava.

We had 11:30 reservations for the Picasso museum.

We walked around until we stopped for lunch.

After the no sleeping, big lunch and riding around in a car, I was falling asleep.

 

I booked Avenida Palace and the La Sagrada suite 11 months in advance, I loved everything except the no air conditioning.

I work for a hotel company, and we partner with Avenida Palace, so this made me smile. :)

I like the big ships and we did Vista so I don’t think I was overwhelmed, if I had more time we may have gotten to everything. After the long days, I would sleep for 45 minutes and then be back at it. It was a lot but great memories.

Ok, I am not trying to drag this out but I worked late and didn’t sleep much. I will get as far as I can.

 

After lunch we took a cab, I thought I said museum of contemporary art, but we ended up at the museum of Catalan art, it was my second choice and the view was incredible.

I’m loving this review. We were on the sailing before you and had three days in Barcelona before the cruise. I miss all of the sangria and tapas!

An elevator takes you to the top of the tower, you walk 400 steps down.

Whew just looking at those high photos made me dizzy. Don’t know if I could do it! [emoji85] but what a view

 

 

 

It was great, but the steps were steep and winding so I could only go so fast.

We were going to dinner and flamenco show, but had time so we had drinks outside on las rambles.

After dinner front row seats and a glass of champagne

 

I didn’t understand exactly the song but the beginning the singer was so beautiful and the dancer was so passionate I started crying, after the show they had 10 minutes to take pictures

Back to the hotel and end of day 2. I can’t imagine a better day in Barcelona. Barcelona, I am not ready to leave but tomorrow is the Horizon.
