I have brought onboard credit for our next cruise, I have kept all my confirmation emails from Holland America but nothing shows up online booking ....is this a problem

Unless you booked direct with HAL, these things aren't visible to you.

thanks for the answer....no I booked with a travel agent....I have kept all my confirmation emails from Holland America so I can prove I have brought this OBC when I get onboard

You'll be fine if you have those. OBC usually shows up no problem but it's smart to bring the confirmation in case. For some reason the ship prefers the printed out confirmations over reading your email on a tablet/ipad/phone, etc.

I always take printed copies of all communications with HAL.

Once on the ship, about the second of the cruise, I ask for a copy of our shipboard account to make certain that all shipboard credit that we are due is in place.

I now set up my account on the Navigator page and check there to make sure all is correct. Saves waiting in a line.
