amcb Posted June 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Hello all. I’m starting to get my ships and trips confused. Can someone please tell me if Giovanni’s is open for suite guests for lunch upon boarding? Thanks so much, :) Amcb
RFerrington Posted June 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2018 To my knowledge, dining for lunch at Giovanni's at embarkation has nothing to do with being a suite guest. If you have the Ultimate Dining Package, then whether or not Giovanni's is open for lunch on embarkation day would be of special interest but being a suite guest does not off you any special dining options in specialty restaurants. There may be a special luncheon for suite/Pinnacle/D++ guests later on in the cruise. Maybe that's what you're thinking of ?

Don't know layout for Grandeur but on some ships Giovanni's I believe is located near the Windjammer and it is open to suite guests on embarkation to provide comfortable seating away from the crowds. I believe you still have to help yourself from the buffet. I don't believe this is always the case and I apologise if I have got this wrong. Hopefully other CC folks will jump in and correct me. But it’s a good problem to have! ;)

George C Posted June 21, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 21, 2018 I believe freedom and voyager class has seating in either chops or Giovanni’s for breakfast and lunch, when we did brilliance they had breakfast in chops but lunch had just a area in wj.
