What is the best way to return to Boston from cruise after leaving the ship?

Spend a couple of days in Quebec staying in the old city, then fly home.

We actually took a post cruise excursion to the falls and countryside ending at the airport, caught a cab back to our hotel next to the citadel, spent a couple of days in the city, then back to the airport and hone.

Quebec is a beautiful city and it would be a shame if you didn’t get to see some of it.

I don't know if you live in Boston or not; if you do, this advice won't work for you.

We're taking the Dawn from Boston to Quebec in September/October. We were initially looking at open jaw plane tickets, and they were pretty expensive. Then we looked at booking two one-ways, and they were much cheaper. So we're flying from Chicago to Boston, taking the cruise, then flying Quebec to Chicago afterwards.

So if you're thinking of how to get back to Boston to fly home (and if you haven't already bought your plane tickets), look into flying home from Quebec.
