It's Almost Time - Adventure of the Seas

We printed everything today and one week from now, we will be sailing on The Adventure of the Seas!

 

We are particularly excited about this trip as it will be the first time I sail with my mom. She and her friend are joining myself and my husband for this cruise! They cruise often and we cruise some, but always separate. We decided this time we would give it a try together.

 

Any tips for Adventure? Any tips for Bahamas? I think our biggest plan is no stress and have fun! How can we go wrong on a cruise?

My general tip is don't feel obligated to do *everything* together. It's the biggest pitfall of traveling with family. If they want to do a bus tour and you want to snorkel, and you don't actually see them that day until dinner, that's okay! You'll have more to talk about!

Great Advice! It's part of the reason we asked that my mom bring her cruise friend! We know that she has a different style of cruising than us! They travel together regularly and seem to be very compatible. It will make it easier on all of us to go our own directions at some points! :-)
