My husband and myself are experienced

cruisersAzamara,Seabourn,Oceania etc, we have now been asked by our son to recommend a cruise line that would fit the bill for them, they are early 40’s no children and are looking for a good cruise, not the really big ships but with more sophistication, good food good company hopefully not too many children running around and some fellow cruisers of the same age, look forward to your recommendations.

Celebrity Xpedition to the Galapagos or National Geographic to Antarctica. Almost no young children, small ships, with very well-traveled, knowlegable passengers from several countries. Both destinations are so unusual and fantastic - truly bucket list places.

The kids thing can vary, depending on when they want to cruise. June, July & August - gonna have kids.

IF THE ITINERARY is good for them, then Celebrity smaller ships (Connie, Summit, Infinity, Millennium) would probably be a good choice.
