Grand Cru Posted July 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2018 My husband and myself are experienced cruisersAzamara,Seabourn,Oceania etc, we have now been asked by our son to recommend a cruise line that would fit the bill for them, they are early 40’s no children and are looking for a good cruise, not the really big ships but with more sophistication, good food good company hopefully not too many children running around and some fellow cruisers of the same age, look forward to your recommendations. Bookish Angel Posted July 5, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2018 Celebrity Xpedition to the Galapagos or National Geographic to Antarctica. Almost no young children, small ships, with very well-traveled, knowlegable passengers from several countries. Both destinations are so unusual and fantastic - truly bucket list places. Heidi13 Posted July 5, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2018 I suggest they check out Viking Ocean, Oceania & possibly Celebrity or Holland America.
JimnKaren Posted July 5, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2018 The kids thing can vary, depending on when they want to cruise. June, July & August - gonna have kids. IF THE ITINERARY is good for them, then Celebrity smaller ships (Connie, Summit, Infinity, Millennium) would probably be a good choice.
