San Juan Taxi Fares - 2018

Here are current (July 2018) flat rates for taxis from SJU. The fares have increased by about $2 since mid 2017 and there is now an additional "airport fee."

Is the $1 luggage fee per bag? Also the price listed for the pier and airport fee is per taxi, not per person correct.? Do they have vans available for large groups?

Yes, yes and yes. In fact most of the taxis working the airport are full size vans.

We've cruised 3 times out of San Juan and when using a taxi we've only been charged for our large luggage...never our small carry on or backpack. Yes...per taxi not per person...and even though it has only been the two of us we've always ended up in a taxi van...plenty of room.
