Horizon pub tour.

I did a quick search and didn’t see anything on this. For the Pub tour on Horizon, how do you make a reservation for it? Sure it is best to do it as soon as you get on, but do you do it at the brewery, or at the main desk? Thanks for any help.

I haven't said the Horizon (yet), but I have taken the tour on the Vista. Assuming it's the same, you sign up for it at the brewery. I'd recommend doing it as soon as you board, as it can sell out. IMO, it's well worth it.

Yes, it does. Usually, you'll sample 4 beers during the tour. If they're trying to get rid of something, it may be 5 beers. When I took the tour in mid November, they were trying to finish off a pumpkin spice beer, so we got that in addition to the 4 usual beers (I hate pumpkin, but that beer was actually very good).

Between the 11 of us on my tour, we went thru 10 pitchers of beer in about 80 minutes. We were seated at 2 tables, 5 at one table and 6 at the other. For each beer sampled, 2 pitchers were brought out, 1 per table. You get a free pint glass & a certificate at the end of the tour. Bring the certificate back later during your cruise for a free pint (you still get to keep the certificate)

I did it on the 5/28 sailing of the Horizon. You sign up at the Pig and Anchor after the muster drill. They will not do it any sooner. Well worth the money. FYI.....pack away the glass you get. Room attendants think it is a bar glass and have been known to take them when they clean your cabin.

Did the Pub tour. Was great. $24.95. They have us a pitcher to share between 2 tables for our 6 oz. Glasses. Plus you get a free glass after the tour for anytime after the tour. Well worth the money.

Man I would love to do this. Don't know if I can justify spending the $25 knowing we have cheers already. Wish they would give a discount if you had cheers. We did plan on purchasing some pint glasses so we will prob do the tour anyway
