I bought a large large box of plastic straws at Sams Club. Seriously, they should last me the rest of my life. Storing them with the 300+ incandescent 100 watt bulbs I bought before they took them off the shelves.

Just arrived at St. Isaac’s Cathedral, whose construction started in 1818. It’s large enough to house 14,000 worshippers.]

 

 

Looks very grand and ornate! Is it similar in size to Vatican’s St. Peter’s or larger?

Our touring of St. Petersburg is complete! This sums up how we all feel after two-days of nonstop sight-seeing...

 

 

We’re now leaving the palace grounds and returning to the ship.

Interesting happenings... the Mein Schiff has stopped in its tracks, and although our lines have dropped our thrusters are keeping us pushed up against the pier.

 

Of course, as soon as I posted that we push off...
