Bondsmen02 Posted July 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2018 Is it true that Carnival Sunshine is real rocky going to Aruba?
wowzz Posted July 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2018 Do you mean a rocky atmosphere or rocky (ie rough) seas? Sent from my SM-T580 using Forums mobile app
Bonnie J. Posted July 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2018 No! been there done that, It is no more rocking at any other port is rocking in rough seas. We have been on more than 100 cruises since 1985 and have been in rough seas but have a LOT more calm seas. The Sunshine is our favorite ship! Been on her more than a dozen times. Last time February but then my husband had a serious stroke so we can't cruise for a while - his left side was paralyzed. Last year, 2017, we did 8 Carnival cruises. If you are afraid of seasickness pick a cabin on lowest deck in the middle of the ship. Think of a metronome. The top goes back and forth like crazy. The bottom hardly moves. Bondsmen02 Posted August 6, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted August 6, 2018 We always book a cabin on the upper decks this cruise we’re on the 10th deck. We’re taking our mom and she gets sea sick easily. Thanks for the information! Was thinking about changing to the horizon.
leaveitallbehind Posted August 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2018 Unless it is older and not stabilized, the ship you are on has nothing to do with how rough the passage is to anywhere. It is strictly a matter of the sea conditions, which are unpredictable and can change daily. No way to say what it will be like to Aruba - or anywhere else for that matter - on any ship.
