I have watched a number of posts originate with the post critical of the fact that as the thread evolves it gets it assumes a life of it's own and drifts from the original topic and/or question. I really don't see a problem with this. These forums, as with any conversation will grow, evolve, mutate. I find that after a new question is posted the first handful of replies will usually address the query and the following posts will drift...I have learned a lot about cruising from the "drifting" threads.

Like most threads here...if you don't like the way it's evolving, stop clicking on it.

You're right Danno, lets stay on the subject. Now why is it again we can't smoke in the dinnin rhum? I have axed the rhum stewart and wine stewart but nobody seems to know. Well i will just have to get in the que and go to the pursers wicket to find out eh?

Hi lois...I think I really am becoming more excited about your cruise than my own. My only fear is that you will have a level of expectation that Horizon will not meet.

However, being an experienced Celebrity pax I don't expect you'll get many surprises. I really hope you find a moment to raise a glass to your sad friend in North Bay who wants SO MUCH to be in the America's Cup to pay for that drink.

Dan, experienced cruiser, eh?....well maybe after the Horizon I can say that....I have 3 on Celebrity so that will make a 4th.

I don't think I will be disappointed at all. I know the Horizon is smaller than The Century and that can be a good thing! I meet people very easily...LOL like you couldn't tell [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img] so 1350 pax will be really easy (just kidding).
The dining experience should really be a new experience though...One level!
And as long as the staff is as nice as usual I will have a fantastic time, remember I always cruise with a good attitude[img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Hey Lois.

My boss is leaving tomorrow morning on Horizon to Bermuda from Phila. This itinerary sails past the refinery where I work (down the Delaware River). We thought we'd come in tomorrow and line the ship dock here and wave bon voyage.......I'll tell him write a review when he returns!

Currently working on DH on a September 18 cruise on Zenith. Just returned from a Bahamas/Key West cruise on Carnival's Miracle so I don't know if it's a go (the price is right though). This is fast turning into an addiction.

I know lots of people do and it doesn't bother me but I am one of those folks who prefers not to schlep anything extra with me.
I have had that Ice Wine and it is delicious but when I toast Dan (it will be virutal for him) it will be with either a glass of bubbly or a fun martini [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
