tortuga1975 Posted July 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2018 I have FTTF purchased for an upcoming cruise. I'm 99% sure my dad (who I room with) is going to turn platinum on the cruise. I was looking at our boarding documents and they have both the FTTF circle and a red box/triangle that says "priority". That's not part of the FTTF, right? I'd like to cancel the FTTF but want to make sure we'll have priority boarding. (He has 68 VIFP points and we're going on a 7 day cruise, so he *should* turn plat on last day.) skrufy Posted July 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2018 Yes, he will be platinum from the time you board. If you cancel FTTF check again his luggage tags to see that it says priority on it.

2Shoes2Go Posted July 26, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 26, 2018 Just noticed that your tags have the messed up coloring on the Priority symbols and also the FTTF. I thought maybe it was my computer or printer that did this. Wonder why the symbols aren't better?

I thought maybe it was my computer or printer that did this. Wonder why the symbols aren't better? I've noticed when you print the tags and boarding passes directly from Carnival, they print with the correct coloring. However, if you save them or print them as a .pdf file, the logos and markings will appear with a pink/red background and the logos are a different color scheme. ibbarry Posted July 30, 2018 #17 Share Posted July 30, 2018 So If my tags have the messed up logos do I need to reprint them? Only if your OCD is as strong and unrelenting as mine (HA!). Carnival won't have a problem with it.
Rare Essiesmom Posted July 30, 2018 #18 Share Posted July 30, 2018 Some people don't even use a color printer. Or are like me, and don't change the color cartridge until it refuses to print altogether. EM
2Shoes2Go Posted July 30, 2018 #19 Share Posted July 30, 2018 They’ll work just fine. Ours have been funky looking for quite a while. Just was curious. :)
wo5m Posted July 31, 2018 #20 Share Posted July 31, 2018 Here is my story about FTTF labels on our last cruise. When carnival changed to the new boarding pass for a few hours they had a bug in their code that printed FTTF labels for those who didn't have it and normal labels for those who did. I was one of those that got the FTTF labels without paying for it. Later that day carnival acknowledged the mistake said they would have terminal workers with a list of FTTF passengers so people wouldn't take advantage. Fast forward to our cruise on the Freedom, when I checked in the terminal. I first got in the regular line only to be redirect to the VIP line when she saw my FTTF logo. Even when I got to the the counter the lady checking us in even saw the logo and said "oh your FTTF, your cabins will be ready when you get on board"(it wasn't).
