Maybe mad cow disease? Considered very dangerous. We’ve been watching YouTubes on French brasseries this afternoon where they were featured more than once. We were wondering whether they keep and wash the bones and refill them with some concoction or other. They all seemed prestine rather than looked like they had been baked. I decided some time ago to live dangerously sometimes.

Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted July 14 #21210 Share Posted July 14 Just got back from our latest lobster dinner in Maine. This recipe is called Lobster & Asparagus – lots of lobster meat (all claw – can't make this dish in the Caribbean!), cream "& sherry" sauce but they obviously substituted garlic for the sherry tonight..., grilled asparagus diced and tossed throughout, over farfalle. Lovely! [sorry, I don't take pictures of my food – too busy eating!] But for dessert I followed this advice: 7

lincslady Posted July 14 #21216 Share Posted July 14 I think I put my favourite on here a while ago There was a young man from Nepal Who went to a fancy dress ball He said 'I will risk it, and go as a biscuit' and the dog ate him up in the hall. Apt here at present? 3

Not ready to leave the high seas yet😊

If you don't mind driving, one option is Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula. It's too big to see in a day but still worth a visit. Or, spend a day taking the ferries to some of the San Juan Islands. Orcas Island has great scenery from atop Mt. Constitution, and San Juan Island itself has some interesting history. Have you heard of the "Pig War" before? It's an amusing story. We visited the area probably 20 years ago. We didn't really do much in the city proper, but lots to do in the immediate area. I'll have a peek at some of my old pix from then and see if I can recommend anything else.
