rickcherryb Posted August 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Could anyone answer how much the charge is to use these on the Allure? I saw a thread that there was a charge, not used to being charged for these. Thanks
Clarea Posted August 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Last time we checked it was $149 per couple per cruise.
rickcherryb Posted August 17, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Yikes, I was just hoping to use it once on a sea day for relaxation.
Clarea Posted August 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Yikes, I was just hoping to use it once on a sea day for relaxation. I thought there was a single use price, but I do not recall what that was.
Longhorn Cruiser Posted August 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Found this but not sure how dated it is: The Vitality Thermal Suite features heated ceramic loungers, saunas and steam rooms including a dry heat room, tropical rain forest showers and heated loungers. Passes for the suite cost $30 for a day pass or $150 for a cruise long pass and are limited in number.
bolocheese Posted August 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 18, 2018 On a Symphony cruise a few weeks ago, the charge was $120 per person for the week or $200 for a couple. I did it and went at least 10 times.
Lottacruises Posted August 18, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 18, 2018 Seems pricey, was it worth it for those that purchased?
bolocheese Posted August 18, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 18, 2018 Yes, it's about the price of one massage and I used it every day, sometimes in the morning, sometimes when I returned from an excursion and need some alone time.
Vlgg731 Posted August 18, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 18, 2018 I have seen some comments about it being busy all the time and they didn't get to see it. I used these features on HAL and loved it. Thinking about doing it on Allure December 2019
mkam2821 Posted August 18, 2018 #10 Share Posted August 18, 2018 When cruising the Caribbean, I only choose ships that offer the thermal suite (or something similar depending upon the cruise line--in fact I think the best of them are on Carnival) because I take Caribbean cruises to relax and the heated beds and steam room really help me unwind. My husband doesn't partake unless it's a Carnival spa Cabinwhich includes the amenities for us both. The size of the thermal suite and number of beds on Allure is really not enuogh for a ship of this size but in December 2016 rarely had to wait for a heated bed more than a few minutes and plan to use them again this December when we again cruise on Allure. For me a benefit of paying a few extra dollars is not having children in what should be an adults only area
