I’m wanting to use a 5’ extension cord hopefully next to the bed. Are there plug ins by the night stand ? We are in a veranda suite.

Yes there are plugs beside the bed (each side) and also USB outlets. Compared to a lot of the older ships Koningsdam is wonderful for the outlets it has. There are also outlets at the desk area and more USB outlets.

I think you need to check out if it will be allowed to be used. I just did a search here on CC about the use of one and it appears they are okay for use. It may be the surge protector that may be a problem.

Extension cords are allowed. Just make sure it does not have a surge protector. You can also request to have one provided via ship services.

The one I’m looking at purchasing is a all in one surge protector with multiple plug ins with a 5’cord.

Correct. Surge protectors are not allowed.
