Lyndihop Posted August 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2018 I’m wanting to use a 5’ extension cord hopefully next to the bed. Are there plug ins by the night stand ? We are in a veranda suite.
Daisyloo Posted August 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2018 Yes there are plugs beside the bed (each side) and also USB outlets. Compared to a lot of the older ships Koningsdam is wonderful for the outlets it has. There are also outlets at the desk area and more USB outlets. Rare boards Posted August 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2018 (edited) I’m wanting to use a 5’ extension cord hopefully next to the bed. Are there plug ins by the night stand ? We are in a veranda suite. I think you need to check out if it will be allowed to be used. I just did a search here on CC about the use of one and it appears they are okay for use. It may be the surge protector that may be a problem. Edited August 25, 2018 by boards
freestyling Posted August 25, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2018 Extension cords are allowed. Just make sure it does not have a surge protector. You can also request to have one provided via ship services.
Lyndihop Posted August 25, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted August 25, 2018 The one I’m looking at purchasing is a all in one surge protector with multiple plug ins with a 5’cord.
Lyndihop Posted August 25, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted August 25, 2018 So maybe I just need to bring a plain old extension cord without a surge protector?
