AT&T for us is still free...We'll be there using it in less than a week for our pre-cruise.

You are paying ATT for service in the USA. (certain plans include Canada and Mexico)

 

AT&T wireless service in Guam is not included in their calling plans. The 50 states, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands yes...Guam no. The fact that Guam is a US territory does not automatically make it included in AT&T wireless plans. In Guam you'll pay international pay-per-use roaming rates or you can buy their "Passport" package. The same is true in American Samoa.
