Allure...luggage valet...need quick reply...

Leaving in less than 2 days for our Sunday cruise.

Just pulled out the suitcases to start to pack

I am OLD and find the medium checkin to work fine. I also bring a carryon.

Anyway....ZIPPER IS BROKEN on the medium checkin bag.

Cannot believe it. That leaves the large one that is really big.

Our fight out of Fort Lauderdale when we return is at 11:48am

I have read conflicting times about using the luggage valet service, which would help me immensely.

I have read your flight has to be either later than 11:30am or 1pm.

If after 1pm I am stuck. Does anyone know what the rules for using this service currently is.

Thank you so much. This bigger bag is more than I need & harder for me to maneuver...arthritis.

But with the luggage valet it will be great. Guess I can just by more souvenirs !

I usually start to pack a week before & would have discovered this problem in time to get a new one.

Now just have to hope the airline does not move the flight time up.

Bad luck about the suitcase but great luck about the timing of the flight & the service :O)

If you really like the bag you might look at replacement zipper pulls on Amazon. Won't help for this trip but might salvage for another. We tend to lose the pull tab but the zipper itself is fine. Keyring from car service (or a paper clip) makes a good replacement. Airline actually bent the keyring last time and it is pretty tough steel.

We did the Oasis in June and had a Noon flight. There was 8 of us and we used the luggage valet and it was excellent.

thanks but it is not the pull..

there is a rip, crosswise in the middle of the zipper. cannot believe I did not see that when I put the bag away after our last trip.

Definitely not worth what it would cost to fix

 

When we return, I will go to my favorite luggage haunts & find something new & fabulous.....
