Mobile Passport Port of Miami

Will be cruising out of Miami in February. Went out of Port Everglades last year and the Mobile Passport was active. Been looking around to see any experience with it in Miami. Went to the App site and it stated as of September 2018 it is in Miami? Is this a fact or just wishful thinking on the app's part. Anyone used it there yet?

The Mobile Passport site lists POM and the app itself shows it available also. a792326b23079d2241cdc63ff8b96926.jpg

This is probably a dumb question based on my newbie status... Is the code MSP, for Miami Seaport, the same thing as Port of Miami, POM in other people's posts?

  • 1 year later...

We disembarked at Terminal A yesterday ... there was no Mobile Passport line at Customs (and for passengers with a passport ... there was no line at all, really – just a bunch of facial-recognition scanners). There was a long-ish line for folks traveling on birth certificate/ID combo instead of a passport, though.

I've never been off a ship and out the door so quickly. (Wish I'd known not to bother fighting with the Mobile Passport app over our last onboard breakfast.)
