Club Orient Announce Closing

Club Orient at Orient Beach is closing permanently. I received an email that stated they had just received the check from their insurance but can't rebuild and reopen until late 2019. In the meantime, employees wouldn't be paid because services couldn't be provided until reopening. So sorry to see them close up.

Sorry to hear about this for other folks who enjoyed it.

Wonder if that will mean those who were happily going to Club Orient will now be using other sections of Orient Beach. :confused:

I hate to see it close but after being there 2 weeks ago, I am not surprised. It was sad to see how much damage there was to the club. It would have taken a long time and a lot of money to get it up and running again, IMO.

Glad I got to experience it once. We spent an entire day there a few years ago.....just to do it. Glad I did, now!

Last year damage was enough. French side is still in a rough shape overall. :(
