For those who don't know anything about networking, feel free to move on. I'm only posting this for future "me", and I'm answering the questions that I had before I boarded. All information below is regarding the Allure of the seas.

security: none

network: 172.27.128/20

gw: 172.27.128.1 (00:26:99:64:4a:80)

dns: 172.27.4.13

 

Walled garden redirect: port 80 only, other ports filtered for UDP and TCP

Client-to-client: disallowed

Open protocols: ICMP only. Traceroute works. DNS lookups work, via the provided DNS. Large queries supported.

 

Network gear used: Cisco APs and Nomadix Access Gateway (admin interface reachable but properly secured)

 

Public address: 162.249.177.144

 

Other SSID: royal-crew (WPA2-PSK)

You can also print to the wired printers on a different subnet.

Just treat their network like a hotel or Starbucks... VPN for any unavoidable financial interactions, and turn off auto-update.
